Protein Breakfast

(In reference to A Get Healthy and Fit Plan)

Q.
Just wanted to comment that the Suzanne Sommers and Weight Watchers diets also suggest a protein breakfast for the same reasons. I'm convinced, and will give up my TOTAL cereal for some EGGBEATERS. Can I have cereal for lunch instead? I luv it!

You know, I think that would work but I couldn't say for sure without reading the ingredient label. You still want to avoid sugar for the most part and make sure it is made from whole grains.

The trick to eating a carbohydrate meal is to make sure there is little to no fat in it. Also make sure that it is 3 hours from your last Protein/fat meal. You can eat fruit 30 min. of your carbohydrate meal. You can eat vegetables with either a Protein/fat meal or a Carbohydrate meal.
